Delete Your Echoes Account

In the app

The fastest way to delete your account is directly in the app:

1. Open Echoes and go to Settings → User Settings.
2. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
3. Confirm through the three prompts.

This is immediate and permanent.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app installed, email echoes@zelda.sh from the address on your account (or with your username) and request deletion. We'll delete your account manually, typically within a few days.

What gets deleted

• Your account record: username, email, name, and password.
• Your profile picture.

Habits and expenses you contributed to boards you shared with others may remain visible to those members as part of the board's shared history, since that data belongs to the board as a whole, not just to you. Diagnostic data already sent to Sentry prior to deletion is retained per Sentry's own retention settings (currently 90 days) before it ages out.
